This study aims to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technology disruption on the paradigm transformation of the advocate profession in Indonesia. Its main focus is to analyze how AI is changing the way advocates work, as well as identify gaps in existing regulations related to the use of AI. Using a qualitative approach, the study involved in-depth interviews with senior advocates, young advocates, and legal experts. The results show that AI has great potential to improve efficiency, but it also poses ethical and data security challenges. In addition, it was found that existing regulations are not adequate to regulate the limits and guidelines of advocate practice with AI, so a new adaptive legal framework is needed.
