Abstract

In the process of forming a state, one of them is a citizen. As for issues related to citizens, for example regarding arrangements regarding qualifications or criteria for citizenship, arrangements regarding the principles of citizenship. To regain citizenship, it can also be obtained again by attaching an application to the authorized Minister. However, if the application is assessed and the results are rejected, then the applicant remains stateless. The solution can be done by accessing international agreements. At least even though Indonesia is not a state party, it is enough to be given accession to the international agreement on the elimination of statelessness where the articles in the international agreement can be adapted to Indonesia's citizenship policy.
